To empower green industry consumers by providing complete, clear, timely, accurate and unbiased information needed to make informed purchase decisions.

Sensible Software Inc. founded RateMyEquipment.com in 2002 for the purpose of publishing outdoor equipment pricing guides while providing a vehicle for consumers to rate their experiences with equipment as well as dealers.

In 1988, Sensible Software, Inc. presented its flagship product, CLIP. Since that time, CLIP has become the leading routing, scheduling, job costing and billing software package for the green industry, with close to 9,000 users.

Fast-forward to 2002 and Sensible Software noticed a void in the marketplace. With no place for landscape professionals to rate equipment and equipment dealers, Sensible Software’s Internet Division created RateMyEquipment.com.

RateMyEquipment.com is, and will always be, a free site dedicated to the commercial landscaper. Our headquarters are in Ijamsville, Md., on the technology corridor. Complementing our extensive background in the green industry is a staff of trained professionals constantly updating and improving the site.
